Also in unserem Fall in immer neuen Leben in dieser Welt. In immer neuen Aufgaben und Herausforderungen. In immerwährendem Einssein mit der Unendlichkeit.

Nun.

The Circle of Life

Sometimes you hear people singing on the radio about immortality or eternal youth. Often in songs containing loads of compositional pathos. I think that one doesn´t need necessarily that much pathos at the thought of immortality to come closer to this unthinkable monstrosity. Maybe just a little imagination is sufficient. Not even necessarily faith (of which I would gladly like to tell more on this topic too ). Just to capture the personal temporality or timelessness so we can actually see ourselves as always recurring and thus gifted an infinite life.

But ain´t that a little overdose of wishful thinking? How can I think beyond myself when there apparently is nothing and no one who can say something for sure about my existence what considers the before and the after. The great nothing ?Am I just a small spark of consciousness and organic substance with a little time on a green planet somewhere in the universe? Am I a but a whim of the universe ? Ain´t it somehow cruels that the universe even have us think about all that? About my tiny and temporary existence thrown in the infinity of the meaningless?

The meaning of a thing reveals itself sometimes after a little effort of the designated parts for reflection of the human body. If I can see sense in physics and biology why can I not also dare to mentally get in touch with my life misery ? Maybe what helps in this case is just a little observation of nature and some logical thinking and instantly I maybe get some satisfying solution for my existential luxury problems.

I believe that human spirit, who is able to "think beyond" its existence has logically somehow deserved a further existence after the death of the body. Not only the denying of the idea or the belief that one is nothing more than a fly that just lives for one day in cosmic measures makes us feel better in our reflection about life and the sense for sense in life too. Like the physician got it maybe easier with the knowledge of thinkers such as Newton and Einstein in his profession. But also the fact that you can see something good, beautiful and meaningful as being for itself can give us a bit of hope for a "more" in human life. Hmm...

The Good, The Senseful and Beauty are indeed not completely abstract empty contents - they describe yet categories our lives are in need for every day. And that not only in an aesthetic or moral sense - we breathe Plato´s basic values every day. Inhale and exhale.Perhaps not in order to manage our physical survival but to preserve the mental one. Because I possess as a human being not only a sense of beauty and feel inwardly seized by something I do not quite understand neither I can grasp its size entirely with my given senses - just to find myself an attractive sexual partner for reproduction or to go looking for a pretty or adequate signum for my grave stone.

So it seems to behave with the meaningfulness. The human mind has a sense of order, for logic - yes, for meaning. Our thinking is maybe not the absolute measure of all things in the universe. But considering our ways to get along with mother Earth and install a somehow comfortable and joyful life for us and generations of humans after us reflection has in my opinion not only harmed us. And that is the fact too when dealing with existencial questions in the development of ideas about the setting up and the meaning of our lives.

Who is right - the Hindu, with its eternal recurrence or the Nihilist? Who thinks more causal? Or more
convincing?

Perhaps the spirit of the nihilists gives the answer here. He is similar to a plant that grows and lives, but has no meaning. Just coming out of nowhere and then just disappears into nothingness. Deeply unkausal. Anti-Physics. Against the laws of
nature.

About beauty, morality, goodness and a deeper meaning one can think and come to conclusions - about the Nothing not. That our soul (our core) is immortal, that it somehow somewhere after death lingers until it returns into meat again is written in the law that the idea of a meaning for itself - of a sense - existing in the same body with the idea of a senseless short existence, as it thinks the Nihilist is simply incompatible.

Sense is wanting  to express itself in the materia, in the flesh - and this again and again and always in response to the given conditions. So in our case, in an ever new life in this world. In ever new tasks and challenges. In everlasting oneness with infinity.

So. The human sense for harmonies exists not only in poetry, music and painting. One can find him too in philosophy and logic, the search for meaning and truth. Likely to take some heaviness out of our life and make death more relative.
